Messages, conversation screenshots, and profile text you submit to the texting coach or bio builder
This content is processed in real time by our AI infrastructure providers, configured for zero data retention, to generate suggestions and replies
Your coach conversations are stored with your account so you can continue them later

2.3 Face Data

Our Service generates AI photos from reference photos you upload, and those photos contain your face. This section explains how face data is collected, used, shared, stored, and retained.

What we collect: The only face data we collect consists of the photographs you voluntarily upload as reference photos and the AI-generated images created from them. We do not use facial recognition, and we do not extract biometric identifiers, facial geometry measurements, or "faceprints" from your photos. Your face data exists only as ordinary photographs.

How we use it: Your reference photos are used exclusively to generate your personalized AI images at your request. We do not use them to train AI models, for advertising, to identify you across services, or for any other purpose.

Sharing: To generate your images, your reference photos are transmitted over encrypted connections to specialized AI image-processing infrastructure providers, which process them solely to fulfil your generation request. We do not permit any provider to use your photos to train AI models. Our chat and text-analysis providers are additionally configured for zero data retention. We never sell face data and never share it for advertising purposes.

Storage: Your reference photos and generated images are stored with our cloud storage provider in access-controlled storage, encrypted in transit and at rest.

Retention: Your reference photos and generated images are kept while your account is active and are automatically deleted after 12 months of account inactivity (we email you 14 days beforehand). If you delete your account or ask us to delete your photos, they are removed without undue delay.

3. How We Use Your Information

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

4.1 Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Service:

Clerk (Authentication):

Manages user authentication and account security

Stripe (Payment Processing):

Processes subscription payments securely (we do not store payment card details ourselves)

Vercel (Hosting):

Hosts our web application and API infrastructure

Meta Platforms (Advertising):

Advertising measurement and conversion attribution via Meta Pixel and Conversions API

Google (Analytics):

Conversion measurement for our advertising. Only collected with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Google Analytics is used to attribute sign-ups and purchases to our ad campaigns; we do not use it for general product analytics. We never share your name, email, or other directly identifying information.

PostHog (Product Analytics):

Product analytics, session replay, and error tracking to understand how the Service is used and to debug issues. Only collected with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). When you are signed in, we share your pseudonymous account identifier with PostHog so that usage can be attributed to your account for product improvement. We never share your name, email, or other directly identifying information.

Email Delivery Service:

A third-party email service provider delivers our transactional and marketing emails on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement. The provider processes recipient email addresses, open and click events, and bounce data to operate the email service and provide delivery analytics. Marketing email links include UTM campaign parameters used for conversion attribution in our analytics tools.

Additional Service Providers:

Cloud storage providers - Secure file storage
Database providers - User account and subscription data storage
AI infrastructure providers - Process your uploaded photos to generate your images, and your texting-coach / bio-builder content to generate replies. Our chat and text-analysis providers are configured for zero data retention; no provider is permitted to use your content to train AI models.

These providers act as data processors under contractual terms (including data-processing agreements and standard contractual clauses where applicable) that require them to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us. We confirm that these third parties provide the same or an equal level of protection for your data as described in this policy.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, in response to valid legal processes (subpoenas, court orders), or to protect our rights and safety.

4.3 Business Transfers

If GetMatches.ai is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
